The Ulster County Community Action Committee in Kingston provides direct assistance to help cover rent and mortgage in emergency situations and also for utility bills. To receive aid, you must be a person or family with low incomes no more than for one month per household per year. Contact the office during hours: Mondays through Fridays 8:30am - 4:30pm to see if you qualify for financial help.
