Full Description:

Office hours: Mondays through Fridays 8am - 5pm.

Services Provided:
    Financial Assistance for Disabled Adults – This program provides financial assistance to low-income Colorado residents age 18 to 59 who have at least a six-month total disability that prevents them from working.
    Aid to the Blind (AB) – This program provides financial assistance to low-income persons of any age who meet the Social Security definition of blindness condition.
    Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) – CCCAP provides financial assistance to eligible low-income families who need child care to support their efforts toward self-sufficiency.  CCCAP provides benefits for children from birth to age 12.
    Child Support – The Child Support Enforcement Unit (CSEU) provides child support enforcement services to residents and in many areas of child support collection.
    Colorado Works/Temporary Aid to Needy Families (TANF) – This is a federal program that provides financial and employment support to needy families with dependent children.
    Food Assistance – formerly known as Food Stamps and also referred to as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), assists individuals or families with the cost of purchasing food.
    Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) – A seasonal program available yearly from November 1 through April 30 that helps low-income families and individuals with a portion of their heating costs.
    Old Age Pension (OAP) - This program provides financial assistance to residents ages 60 or older with little or no income, and may provide medical assistance for eligible applicants.
    SSI Supplement – This program may provide a supplement for people who are already receiving Supplement Social Security Income (SSI), but not the maximum amount of $710.

Tips For Prompt And Professional Assistance
1. Make an appointment - Always attempt to make an appointment. Oftentimes this will save you hours waiting in lines. When on the phone make sure you ask for the documentation needed in order to receive assistance.

2. Do not be late for your appointment - This tip should speak for itself.

3. Dress appropriately - If you want to be treated with respect, dress as appropriately as possible. We are not saying wear a suit. Just make sure you and your clothes are clean and non offensive. We have found that clients who dress in this manner have a better chance of receiving aid.

4. Bring all pre determined documentation - Bring all of the documents you were advised to bring from your appointment phone call. Without them, you will not receive aid.
