Private, non-profit agency which serves the economically and socially disadvantaged by responding to their specific needs, enabling them to become self-sufficient and reach their full potential through individual, social, and educational development.

Services may include, but are not limited to, emergency food, energy assistance, clothing, limited financial assistance dependent upon funding sources, family development programs, special housing programs, and telephone assistance (you can apply for the telephone assistance program at either Health and Welfare or the Community Action
Agency). Other community programs may be available, call your local office for details.
