Charlton County Dfcs Folkston is the local county Social Services Department (Division of Family and Children Services) that handles family support social services. These services include a variety of financial resources including:
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), commonly known as welfare, is the monthly cash assistance program for poor families with children under age 18.
