THE HOMELESS INTERVENTION PROGRAM CAN ASSIST WITH RENTAL HOUSING EVICTIONS ONLY. NO MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE, NO HOTEL/MOTEL VOUCHERS, NO MOVING COSTS AND NO UTILITY PAYMENTS EXCEPT FOR DEPOSITS. |*Eligible clients must be: 1) In the "eviction process" having received an Unlawful Detainer scheduling a court date or having already been to court -OR- be homeless per HUD definition.|2) Have had a temporary, unavoidable financial crisis that can be documented.|3) Income w/in 50% AMI guidelines.| |4) Must have regular and recurring income, preferably twice the monthly rent or demonstrate capacity to realize such. |5) Not currently is section 8 or be receiving subsidy from another source.|6) Must have a lease agreement in family member's name.|7) Must be willing to attend monthly(minimally)case management.|8) Habitability and Lead Paint inspections for new move-ins.|9) Rent is limited to 100% of the HUD FMR.
